The meeting with the head of the region was attended by students who excelled in their studies and were active in various events. Among them were the winners of various Olympiads, contests and initiatives that contributed to the development of the educational and public sphere. The library of the K. Zhubanov Regional University was chosen as the place for the dialogue platform.
Askhat Shakharov expressed gratitude to the youth for their achievements and stressed the importance of further support for young people.
"You are an example of commitment and leadership. Your successes inspire others and show that hard work and the pursuit of knowledge bring results," the head of the region noted.
The meeting discussed the main ideological conclusions proposed by the President, as well as common values that should become the basis for the further development of society. Issues related to improving learning conditions, supporting talented youth, and involving students in social and volunteer projects were also raised. The participants shared their ideas and suggestions for creating new opportunities for self-realization.
The participants of the meeting also discussed issues of combating key problems of society: drug addiction, ludomania, vandalism and crime among young people. Addressing the young people sitting in the hall, the Mayor stressed the importance of joint efforts to solve current problems. He noted that having overcome these difficulties today, tomorrow we can expect a brighter and more successful future.
"Speaking at the National Kurultai, the President of the country drew attention to these acute problems related to youth. We must admit that today such negative phenomena as ludomania, drugs, and vandalism are widespread in society. Unfortunately, offenses among young people are also occurring more often. We are obliged to hold such meetings effectively, not for show. To raise these issues and look for joint ways to solve them. In the region, 30 percent of the population is made up of young people. It is especially important to pay attention to the employment of young people and the problems of rural youth. This meeting is a landmark and defines plans for the next year. We must build clear strategies and work out concrete solutions," the mayor stressed during the meeting.
Askhat Shakharov noted that today many opportunities have been created in the region for the realization of the younger generation: coworking centers are operating, grant support programs have been developed, educational trainings and master classes are being held. The mayor urged the youth to be active, not to be afraid to offer their ideas and confidently go towards their goals.
"The future of our region depends on you. Your talents, energy and commitment can make our region successful and prosperous. We are ready to support you on this path," the mayor assured.
