As part of the celebration of the Day of Agricultural Workers, the workers of this industry received state awards and certificates of honor. Akim of the region Askhat Shakharov presented them with awards, noting the contribution of each to the development of the agricultural sector.
The head of the region, opening the event, noted that, despite the flood that occurred in our region this year, farmers successfully completed the season with good indicators. In particular, the average increase in the number of cattle reached 8%, and the grain yield was 14 quintals per hectare. In total, about 600 thousand tons of grain were harvested in the region.
"I sincerely congratulate all of you on the Day of Agricultural Workers! You are making a great contribution to the agro-industrial complex not only in the region, but also in the whole country. Yesterday, speaking at the first forum of agricultural workers, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly stressed: "Agriculture must become a competitive advanced industry. The agro-industrial complex must be one of the key driving forces of the economy," he said in his speech.
Thanks to your tireless work, the inhabitants of the region are provided with food, and they have the opportunity to develop in other important areas of the country.
As you know, at the aforementioned forum, the Head of State outlined the tasks of introducing advanced technologies into the industry. New technologies will reduce the costs of sowing and harvesting crops. To do this, we all need to step up our work.
Also, on behalf of the President, the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Horse Breeding and Feed Production is being created on the basis of the Aktobe branch of the National Agrarian Scientific and Educational Center. This initiative will further improve the quality and increase the number of breeding horses in the region.

After that, the governor of the region presented state and departmental awards of the Ministry of Agriculture to the heads and employees of farms in the region. In particular, the orders of "Enbek danki" of the third degree were awarded to the mechanic of Kumkudyk LLP of Aitekebiy district Yergali Malaidarov, shepherd of Stepnoye LLP of Kargaly district Batyrkhan Tuleuov, shepherd of Zhantizer farm of Khromtau district Kairat Orazalin, the worker of the dairy farm of Ice LLP of Martuk district Asylbek Yertleuov and The chief phytopathologist of the region is Ainagul Tulekbayeva.
Also, a group of citizens was awarded the medal "Enbek Ardageri", the badge "Excellent Student of Agriculture" and a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Agriculture.
At the end of the ceremony, Chairman of the regional Council of veterans Serik Shangutov expressed gratitude to agricultural workers for their contribution to the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region.
