Akim of Akmola region held a reporting meeting with residents of Zharkainsky district. The main purpose of the meeting was to summarize the work of local executive bodies, implement the instructions of the Head of State and discuss key tasks for the development of the district.
Marat Akhmetzhanov noted that Zharkainsky district is one of the leaders in wheat cultivation, providing 10% of the regional harvest. However, most of the grain is sold as raw materials. To increase the added value of products, it is proposed to develop grain processing, focusing on the successful experience of the neighboring Zhaksyn district.
The need for the development of fisheries was also discussed. The area has potential for aquaculture, which can be an additional source of income for residents.
The problems of industrial production were identified at the meeting.
"Due to the absence of large and medium-sized enterprises, the share of the district in the total industrial production of the region is only 0.2%. The district's leadership needs to attract investments to create new industries, as well as more actively use the logistics potential of the district, including railways," M. Akhmetzhanov stressed.
The reserves of entrepreneurship development and the existing potential in the form of state support are not fully used. Over the past three years, there has been a decrease in the number of projects in the region. To intensify work in this direction, the akimat of the district needs to inform the population about the existing measures of state support.
The head of the region raised the issue of increasing yields, introducing new technologies and an integrated approach to the development of crop production. The Mayor instructed to develop a plan for supporting farms, including support at all stages — from the sowing campaign to the sale of products.
"The akim of the district should know "what every farmer breathes" – his capabilities, needs, the quality of the seeds he sows. The transition from the report to the result is one of the most important tasks of the Department of agriculture," the governor of the region noted.
The livestock sector, in particular the dairy sector, is also an important area for the district. It was noted that the largest dairy farm in the district, Temirlan LLP, participates in the preferential lending program, thanks to which it is planned to increase the number of cattle from 400 to 800 heads.
Marat Akhmetzhanov emphasized the role of state support, such as "Auyl Amanaty", concessional financing under the Ken Dala, "With a diploma to the village" and others programs, stressing that their integrated application contributes to the development of villages, increasing incomes of the population, and creating new jobs.
Also during the meeting, issues of housing and road construction, housing and communal services, education, health care, work carried out to strengthen the embankment in 6 villages of the district and the city of Derzhavinsk, the completion of the installation of a hydropost on the Yesil River were touched upon.
According to the governor of the region, in order to achieve sustainable development of the district, it is necessary to actively attract investments, develop new industries and improve the efficiency of agriculture. The main goal is to improve the quality of life of the population.
In conclusion, a number of residents who contributed to the socio–economic development of the district were awarded with the badge "Akmola - enbek ozaty" with monetary certificates, the medal "100 years of S.K. Nurmaganbetov" and letters of thanks from the head of the region.
At a personal reception, residents of the district raised land issues, housing issues, the development of animal husbandry, etc.
