In the Kostanay region, on the eve of the Day of the Republic, the opening of a new modern hostel for students of the Kostanay regional university named after Akhmet Baytursynov took place. The event was held with the participation of the akim of the region Kumar Aksakalov, who congratulated students and teachers on this significant event.
In his speech, Aksakalov noted that the creation of comfortable conditions for living students is an important part of state social policy. “Providing youth with high -quality housing will allow them to better adapt to the educational process and focus on gaining knowledge,” Akim emphasized.
The new hostel, built on private investments in the amount of 1 billion tenge, accommodates more than 320 students. All rooms are completely furnished and equipped with showers and bathrooms. On the floors there are kitchen areas, washing rooms and storage zones. In addition, the building plans to open a fitness club, store and salon.
By the way with the commissioning of the hostel, the need for the university for housing for students is completely closed.
Akim also spoke about plans to improve housing conditions for students, noting that over the past three years, two dormitories in the amount of 2.3 billion tenge have been built in the region. “These efforts will solve the problem of lack of places in hostels and increase the personnel potential of our country,” added Kumar Aksakalov.
At the end of his speech, Akim congratulated everyone on the approaching day of the republic, wishing well -being and success in study.
