An important event took place in the city of Kokshetau at the first regional forum of agricultural producers – for the first time in the Akmola region, agricultural workers were awarded the badge of the akim of the region "Akmola – enbek ozaty".
This high award was awarded to more than 40 of the best representatives of the agricultural industry for their outstanding contribution to the development of the region, high professionalism, long-term fruitful work and high achievements in their activities.
The President of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the republican forum stressed the importance of the work of farmers.
Akmola region is one of the key agricultural regions of the country. Thanks to the selfless work of farmers, 6.6 million tons of grain and leguminous crops were harvested from an area of 4.7 million hectares this year. The average yield was over 14 quintals per hectare, and 60% of the crop is high–quality wheat.
The head of one of the leading farms in the region, Ivan Sauer, expressed his deep gratitude.
"For the first time in the Akmola region, a large-scale event is being held, where due attention is paid to the man of work. This award is a sign of respect and recognition of our contribution to the development of the region and the whole country," said I. Sauer.
