Mayor of Astana Zhenis Kassymbek on his Instagram page told about the results of the meeting with entrepreneurs of the city, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
"In the format of an open microphone, Raimbek Batalov, Chairman of the Presidium of the NCE RK "Atameken", held a meeting with entrepreneurs of the city. They answered their questions. Today, there are more than 240 thousand small and medium-sized businesses in the capital, where half a million people work. This is 70% of working people.
To date, the volume of investments is 1.4 trillion tenge, of which the share of private investments reaches more than 70%.
We provide systematic support to SMEs: preferences in the territory of the FEZ and the industrial park, grants and preferential loans under various programs, the creation of the necessary infrastructure, etc.
Industrial Park No. 1 operates in the capital, which is rightfully the leader in the country in terms of national indicators among industrial parks, having reached a production volume of 8.1 trillion tenge over the entire period of operation.
In total, 118 projects worth investments of about 317 billion tenge are based on the territory of the industrial park, including 60 industrial facilities that have already been commissioned and are fully functioning. This allowed the creation of 5,700 permanent jobs. Another 58 projects are under implementation.
The successful experience of Industrial Park No. 1 has become an incentive for us to launch a second industrial park. The territory of the new park will be 409 hectares, and its potential is calculated until 2042.
The key advantage of the industrial park is the status of the territory of the special economic zone and already today we see interest from investors.
In addition, we are launching the Social Innovation Hub project, which is a unique center for supporting social entrepreneurs.
