As part of the celebration of the 85th anniversary of Zhambyl region, the fleet of medical institutions in the region was replenished with new equipment.
Akim of the region Yerbol Karashukeyev handed over the keys to 20 cars to primary health care organizations.
Ambulances were transferred to medical institutions of Baizak (2 cars), Zhambyl (3), Zhualyn (3), Kordai (2), T. Ryskulov (3), Merken (2), Sarysu (3), Talas (3), Moyinkum (3), Shuisky districts (3), Taraz city multidisciplinary the hospital and the consulting and diagnostic center, regional medical centers.
By the end of this year, it is planned to purchase 13 more units of official transport.
The need for ambulances is 272 units. Of the 235 cars on the balance sheet of regional medical institutions, 112 are worn–out cars. To solve the problem, funds are allocated annually to upgrade the fleet of medical institutions.
Last year, 24 healthcare facilities were built in the region, 10 of them within the framework of the national project "Modernization of rural healthcare". Major repairs of 11 facilities have been carried out. This year, 3 facilities have been commissioned as part of the national project.
