On October 24, Aktau hosted a solemn event dedicated to the celebration of the Republic Day. At the solemn meeting, Akim of the region Nurdaulet Kilybai thanked the citizens who made a significant contribution to the development of the country. At the gala evening, employees of various fields who have made a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the state were awarded.
Akim of the region Nurdaulet Kilybai awarded the Order of "Barys" I degree to the pride of the country, the famous musician Serzhan Shakrat. Also, citizens who have made a special contribution to the development of the country were awarded the orders of Parasat, Kurmet, Enbek Danky, medals Yeren enbegi Ushin and Shapagat, as well as public awards.
The head of the region congratulated the participants of the award ceremony on a special holiday and noted the importance of Republic Day for Kazakhstanis.
- At the National Congress held in 2022, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev revived the celebration of Republic Day, noting that this is a special national holiday. This day is inscribed in golden letters in the history of our country and has received the status of a national holiday. As you know, in the coming 2025, Aktau city has been designated the cultural capital of the Turkic world. Various events are organized in the center of the region, designed to pass on fraternal ties and friendship, culture and art between Turkic-speaking peoples from generation to generation and introduce them to the world community. Many decisions are being made in the direction of socio-economic development of the region, and work is underway. There are still tasks to be completed. I believe that we will do this together with you in harmony and unity. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all the citizens who worked tirelessly day and night together. On the eve of this important holiday, I wish all your families good health and happiness," said Nurdaulet Kilybai.
