Today, on October 24, Akim of Mangystau region Nurdaulet Kilybai met with the youth of the region. The meeting was attended by more than 300 active youth and community leaders aged 14-35 from Aktau city and districts. The event was held in a free format in the form of questions and answers.
The participants of the meeting presented to the head of the region their best ideas and proposals for solving youth issues. So, a group of young people brought to the akim of the region the problems they face in the field of education, art, sports and spiritual development, another group raised issues of drinking water, roads, landscaping of the regional center, ludomania. It was also proposed to open a special center for youth with disabilities.
The head of the region answered the questions of the youth gathered at the meeting and stressed the importance of its role in society.
- I am glad to meet the enthusiastic young people who work tirelessly in the region and contribute to the development of our country. We gathered at this meeting to discuss current issues related to youth and jointly find ways to improve their social conditions. According to the instruction of the head of state, the Government pays special attention to the social situation of young people and their employment. However, we know that there are a number of problems in the field of youth policy, and I invite you to work together to solve them," said Nurdaulet Kilybai.
At the end of the meeting, Nurdaulet Kilybai said that based on the proposals and questions of youth, solving current problems will be considered as the main direction of the state youth policy in the future.
It should be noted that today about 235 thousand young people between the ages of 14 and 35 live in the Mangystau region. This represents 29.7% of the region's population. Of these, 103,348 live in cities, 131,548 in rural areas.
