The third international exhibition of consumer goods Non-Food Asia Expo has opened in Almaty. The event is supported by the Ministry of Trade and Integration and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken". The exhibition presents consumer goods intended for retail chains and marketplaces. This year, about 200 companies from 20 countries are taking part in the exhibition.
The Non-Food Asia Expo is being held for the third time and has proven to be an effective tool for establishing business ties between foreign and domestic producers and the largest retail chains and marketplaces of the EAEU countries. This year, the priority of the event is to expand the geography of sales, increase the volume of turnover and expand the customer base.
As noted during the opening of the exhibition, Aizhan Bizhanova, First Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
"We generally support such a dialogue platform where manufacturers and businessmen can establish interconnection and improve trade turnover, international trade, as well as attract additional investments. During the three days of the exhibition, more than 300 brands from leading market players and direct manufacturers will be presented to participants. Products are presented in almost all categories of industry — from household chemicals and cosmetics to children's toys and household goods."
Elena Milyaeva, General Director of Mayer Expo Asia LLP, stressed that the purpose of the exhibition is to help participants find new markets for their products, as well as to facilitate the establishment of links between manufacturers and raw material suppliers and the search for new distributors. Within the framework of the Non-Food Asia Expo, participants can also receive various consultations on import and export issues to the EAEU and Asian countries.
The Non-Food Asia Expo will continue in Almaty for three days and will provide participants with a unique opportunity to establish new business contacts.
