A Republican New Year's Tree was held in the capital on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Zhana zhyl Republic of Thailand". The festive event was attended by more than 100 children from all regions of the country who have achieved success in their studies, sports, creativity and social life.
Ten-year-old Ali Kudyarov is among the participants of the event. A student of K.Khadesov secondary school in Kulkol village of Akzhar district of North Kazakhstan region. Especially for this event, his mother specially sewed a "Tree of Life" costume. The headdress was decorated with a crown, branches, leaves, beads and butterflies. In the front of the costume there is a "Shezhire", a symbolic image of seven generations.
"It feels like I'm in a fairy tale! Everything is so beautiful, and my outfit, which my mother sewed, makes this day even more special for me. Thank you for this amazing holiday!", Ali shared his impressions.
Another outfit that attracted the attention of the participants was the costume of a 7th grade student, Jasna Orakbai, from secondary school No. 8 in Aktobe. It was created manually by the school's teachers, who made every effort to make the image unique and festive.
Daria Dyachishina, a pupil of the Support Center for Children in Need of Special Social Services from the Akmola region, thanked the President for the invitation. The girl is actively engaged in Kyokushin karate and is proud of her achievements.
"Participating in the New Year's Tree is an unforgettable event in my life. I received a lot of gifts, saw an amazing show, and met guys from other regions. Thank you to the President and all the organizers for this magical holiday, which gave me a lot of emotions and inspiration," said Daria.
Special attention should be paid to the costume of 12-year-old Adema Skachkova from Saumalkol school No.2 North Kazakhstan regions named "Phoenix Bird". The girl sewed her outfit together with her teachers and mentors. She studies vocals and is the winner of regional vocal competitions.
Each invited child was presented with greeting cards on behalf of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
"Young friend! I wish you a Happy New Year! May this holiday bring you joyful moments and vivid impressions! Study well, develop and strive for new things! Be smart, successful, and please your loved ones! May your most cherished dreams come true! I wish you good health and long happiness!" the message of greetings reads.
Together with the students, the lights on the Christmas tree were lit by the country's chief teacher, Gani Beisembayev.
"Today, more than 100 children from all over the country gathered in the most beautiful city — the capital Astana. During these few days, you have managed to visit the main attractions and get acquainted with the best educational institutions. The year 2024 has become a year of achievements and discoveries for you. Some of you have become excellent students, others have won competitions or contests, and others have made new friends. Your successes are an important contribution to the future of our country. The state makes every effort to ensure that your childhood was a happy one. Now your goal is to study purposefully, develop your talents and become responsible citizens of your country," the minister said.
The festive atmosphere for the children was created by the artists of the best creative teams of the capital. A theatrical performance and a round dance to the songs of famous Kazakhstani artists became an integral part of the performance. In addition, a tour of the capital was organized for children with visits to attractions, theaters, cinemas and museums. At the end of the event, the children were presented with New Year's gifts on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
