A new suspension bridge over the Tundik River was installed in the village of Aktasty, Tattimbet rural district. It divides the settlement in half, and it used to be difficult to get from one part of the village to another.
In winter, residents of the village of Aktasty were forced to cross the river on ice. But it wasn't safe in warm weather. And in the spring, it became extremely difficult to cross the river because of the flood water.
Money has been allocated from the district budget to solve this problem. A pedestrian suspension bridge was built on them.
It was built by local entrepreneur Meyrlan Beisembayev.
– We are glad that one of the most pressing issues of the village is being optimally solved. The main thing is the issue of security. Children will no longer walk on the ice, now they will be able to cross the river through the bridge. This project, aimed at the benefit of the villagers, is very important for all of us," said Saltanat Kalymzhanova, a resident of the village.
Chairman of the Council of veterans of the village Serik Sarkenov also thanked the district administration for resolving the urgent issue.
– This problem has been bothering the villagers for many years. The villagers are very happy that they have taken up this difficult issue this year. Now it will become much easier to move inside the village, especially during the spring snowmelt," Aksakal says.
