Work on the approval of the strategy for the development of districts and cities of the Turkestan region until 2030 continues. The Zhetysai district development plan has been clarified today. The priorities and problems of the district were openly announced, and appropriate tasks were given. Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy gave instructions to the head of the district on the opening of production facilities, the introduction of water saving technologies, the development of agriculture and the revival of the processing industry.
— Despite the high potential of the district, the indicators leave much to be desired. The team must work in a coordinated and systematic manner. The country needs specific projects and production facilities. Strengthen the full development of irrigated lands and the introduction of water conservation technologies. The district is provided with the necessary support, use it effectively. It is necessary to diversify agriculture and focus on deep processing. Look for new solutions, show results," Darkhan Satybaldy said.
According to Serik Mamytov, Akim of Zhetysai district, the focus for the development of the district is mainly on agriculture, trade, industry and construction. It is planned to attract investments, introduce new technologies to increase productivity and reduce unemployment.
In the first nine months of this year, the gross regional product amounted to 112.5 billion tenge, which is 10.2% more than in the same period last year.
The developed development strategy plans to improve all indicators. The volume of the gross regional product should grow 2.3 times by 2030 and reach 387 billion tenge. In particular, the volume of industrial products will increase from 19.3 billion tenge to 38.5 billion tenge, the volume of construction — from 10.4 billion tenge to 14.8 billion tenge, the volume of agricultural products — up to 249.1 billion tenge. As a result, by 2030, the volume of industry will grow by 2 times, the processing industry — by 2 times, the volume of construction — by 1.4 times, trade — by 2.3 times, the volume of agricultural products — by 2.4 times.
Over the past 5 years, 90.2 billion tenge of investments have been attracted to the district. From 2024 to 2030, 69 projects worth 115.2 billion tenge are planned to be implemented, which will create 4,683 jobs. As a result, not only will tax revenues increase, but the volume of investments in fixed assets will increase by 3.8 times. 20 projects worth 63.2 billion tenge will be implemented in the industrial sector, which will create 2,706 jobs and bring 1 billion 260 million tenge of tax revenues to the budget. It is also planned to open the Zhetysai industrial zone on an area of 50 hectares. Currently, work is underway to return land plots to state ownership.
