1. Is it necessary to indicate the name of the service in a cash register receipt?

Yes. When providing a service, the cash register receipt must contain incl. its name in accordance with the Rules for the application of cash register machines and the list of requirements for the content of a cash register machine receipt, approved by Order No. 626 of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 24, 2025. Wording such as "Sale" or "Item" by itself does not constitute the name of the service provided. Therefore, an entrepreneur is required to configure the cash register so that the specific service is reflected on the receipt.

2. Is it necessary to indicate the NCT in a cash register receipt when providing a service?

No. The product identification code in accordance with the National Catalog of Goods is used when selling goods. When providing services, indicating a product code from the NCT on the receipt is not required.

3. Does a cash register receipt confirm the receipt of income?

A cash register receipt confirms the fact of a cash settlement between the seller (supplier) and the buyer (client). At the same time, accounting documentation and other documents serving as the basis for determining taxation objects may also be used to confirm income from entrepreneurial activity.
