Yesterday, Akim of the region Nurlybek Nalibayev visited the Syrdarya district on a working trip, where he took part in the ceremony of connecting villages named after S. Seifullin and A. Tokmagambetov to natural gas.
The head of the region warmly congratulated the residents on this long-awaited event. From this day on, people will no longer need to buy firewood, coal, heat the stove and take the ashes out of the house.
– Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that one of the most important tasks is the comprehensive improvement of the village. We must provide concrete support to the village and develop modern infrastructure. Today, the gasification level of the region is 75 percent," the governor of the region said. – This year, 306 kilometers of gas pipeline networks are being laid – more than 30 billion tenge has been allocated for these purposes. As a result, 78 percent of the region's population will use gas in the future. Next year, it is planned to connect more than ten more settlements to blue fuel. All this contributes to improving the quality of life of the population.
As the head of the region noted, last year the budget of the Syrdarya district amounted to 12 billion tenge, and this year it reached 16 billion 108 million tenge, an increase of 33 percent is noted. These funds will be used to solve the most pressing problems of the district's population.
Veterans of labor Sultanbek Tauipbayev and Abdigappar Amirgaliyev congratulated residents of villages on a significant event. A number of specialists who contributed to the development and prosperity of their native land, as well as veterans, were awarded letters of thanks from the akim of the region.
After the ceremony of connecting to natural gas, the head of the region met with residents of settlements, told about the work done and plans for the coming period. In particular, he focused on ongoing infrastructure projects and innovations in industries. The governor of the region also listened to the opinions and suggestions of citizens.
