On the eve of the Republic Day, akim of Shymkent Gabit Syzdykbekov, together with residents, took part in the technical opening of the first two comfortable schools in the city. The new educational building in nurshuak microdistrict is designed for 2000 places, and the school in Karabastau residential area is designed for 1200 places. It should be noted that in these schools, students will start studying in the second quarter of the academic year.
Congratulating residents on the upcoming holiday, the mayor of the city noted that the problem of shortage of schools has been relevant for many years.
At the initiative of the head of state, the National Project "comfortable school" is being implemented in the country, aimed at solving the problem of emergency and three-shift schools and the shortage of student places.
Modern schools, which have separate blocks for primary and high school students, have created conditions for the full development and quality of education of children. In addition, a barrier-free environment is provided for children with special needs, equipped with modern subject rooms, STEM laboratories, robotics classes.
Special attention was paid to security measures and digital video cameras and turnstiles were installed. There are also choreographed and four gyms, recreation areas, workout and networking.
In total, 18 comfortable schools will be opened in Shymkent within the framework of the national project.
