The international campaign "16 active days against violence" has started in Kazakhstan

The launch of the international campaign "16 days without violence" was given in Kazakhstan. It takes place annually from November 25 to December 10 under the auspices of the National Commission on Women's Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Thus, Kazakhstan demonstrates its commitment to the elimination of all forms of violence at both the global and national levels. The main purpose of the campaign is to prevent domestic violence and increase legal literacy of the population.
As part of this campaign, a championship among the capital's universities was held in Astana today, according to the rules of which the teams had to offer a creative approach to solving cases on the topic of gender violence.
The Ministry of Culture and Information has also launched an active information campaign on the types of violence, their consequences and ways to prevent it. In addition, within the framework of the campaign, self-defense trainings for women have been organized, conferences, round tables, an art performance on the topic of countering violence and other events are planned.
