The results of socio-economic development and budget execution for 9 months of this year were considered at a board meeting chaired by Akim of Zhambyl region Yerbol Karashukeyev.
According to Sandugash Abdralieva, head of the Department of Economics and Budget Planning, the growth rate of the region's economy reached 3.7% during the reporting period.
Among the industries, the best indicators are construction (20.6%), housing (2.3%), investment (1.7%), trade (2.1%), transport (13.5%), communications (9.1%).
328.3 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the fixed capital.
The share of the manufacturing sector in the industrial structure amounted to 65.2%, products worth 420.9 billion tenge were produced. According to the results of 9 months, positive dynamics is observed in the following manufacturing industries: in the construction industry - 1.2%, the production of finished metal products - 68.9%. Yellow phosphorus production also increased by 12.3% in the chemical industry.
The growth in the mining industry was 2.6%, in electricity supply - 14.7%, in water supply - 7.8%.
Next, Erbol Karashukeyev heard reports from the mayors of the districts, where low indicators in certain areas were noted. The city of Taraz and the districts have been instructed to ensure the achievement of socio-economic development targets by the end of this year.
The head of the Finance Department, Batyrkhan Akek, reported on the results of the execution of the regional budget. The akim of the region has set tasks for the effective and full utilization of budget funds.
Reports of the head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and innovative development, akims of Sarysu, Shuisky, Zhambyl districts were heard separately.
Following the discussions, Erbol Karashukeyev set a number of specific tasks to increase the socio-economic potential of the regional center and districts.
He also recalled the personal responsibility of akims and heads of departments for the fulfillment of targets.
- Unreliable data in agricultural statistics have been revealed. Such facts must be strictly suppressed from now on. It is necessary to show the real picture and systematically work on solving urgent problems. It is necessary to control the situation on the ground and work ahead of the curve," the governor of the region concluded.
