Harvesting of sugar beet is in full swing in Zhambyl region. In total, 11.2 thousand hectares have been sown with sugar beet this year. It is planned to collect and process more than 600 thousand tons of sugar beet.
On Friday, October 25, Akim of the region Yerbol Karashukeyev, during a working trip to the Bayzak district, got acquainted with the progress of harvesting sugar beet.
The head of the region visited the farms "Zulufov", "Chaushev", "Veteran", "Adler".
In an interview with farmers, the governor of the region noted that state support measures will be continued, all efforts will be directed to solving urgent problems.
Bayzak farmer Talasbek Shertaev received a preferential loan at 2.5 percent and purchased a beet harvester. He says that the new technology has simplified the work.
In the Bayzak district, 3 thousand hectares were sown with sugar beet on the territory of 67 farms. Sugar beet was harvested from an area of 0.7 thousand hectares, 52.9 thousand tons were harvested. 50.6 thousand tons were sent to sugar factories.
This year, 11.2 thousand hectares have been sown with sugar beet in the region. It is planned to collect and process more than 600 thousand tons (average yield of 570 kg /ha).
Sugar beet was harvested from an area of 3.2 thousand hectares, 229.3 thousand tons were harvested (average yield 711.4 kg/ha).
The Merken plant is ready to accept and process up to 450 thousand tons, 100-150 thousand tons - the Aksu sugar plant. To date, 18.1 thousand tons have been sent to the Aksu plant.
The Merken Sugar Factory is being assisted by the Government and local authorities.
According to the schedule agreed with the management of the plant, acceptance began on September 10 and 179.4 thousand tons have been shipped to date.
The daily intake capacity of the sugar beet plant has been increased from 4.5 thousand to 5.9-6 thousand tons.
Preferential loans are issued to replenish the working capital of the plant within the framework of the Ken Dala-2 Agricultural Credit Corporation program.
Transportation costs will be compensated by increasing the standard of subsidies provided from 25 to 45 tenge.
Subsidies were allocated for the sale of 6.8 thousand tons of products to the Merken sugar factory at the expense of the local budget (172 million tenge).
It is planned to allocate 16 billion tenge from the republican budget to subsidize about 600 thousand tons of products.
