The member States of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) have developed a draft Agreement on the admission of brokers and dealers of one EAEU member state to participate in organized auctions of exchanges (trade organizers) of other member States (Agreement).
In accordance with the existing agreements within the financial market, the development of an Agreement is one of the stages towards the formation of a common financial market.
The agreement provides for the admission of brokers and dealers of one country to the organized trading of the exchange (including remote access) of another EAEU member state on equal terms, with the opportunity to submit applications and conclude transactions at organized auctions, become clearing participants using the services of a clearing organization, gain technical access to organized trading and clearing and open appropriate accounts in the depositories of the EAEU member States.
At the same time, the decision to grant a license is made by the exchange of the EAEU member state itself.
The Kazakh side has conducted appropriate internal coordination with interested government agencies, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken", as well as with the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange "Kazakhstan Stock Exchange".
The draft Agreement will be considered at the next meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, following which it is planned to send the draft Agreement to the EAEU member states for internal procedures.
The signing of the Agreement is planned after the implementation of domestic procedures in 2025.
Recall that in accordance with the Treaty on the EAEU, the common financial market is being formed in order to ensure equal access of financial market entities to the markets of the EAEU countries.
As of today, the Member States are carrying out appropriate work in this direction.
