Today, the results of the second stream of the project on the selection and training of managers of the new format "1000 leaders of changes in education" were summed up. It was launched last year on behalf of the Head of State. The award ceremony was attended by Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev.

Addressing the reservists, Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev focused on the main directions for improving the quality of education and professional training of teaching staff.
"The Ministry of Education has identified five key areas for improving the quality of education. Special attention is paid to the development of effective management and the creation of a personnel reserve. On behalf of the Head of State, we launched the project "1000 leaders of change" – this is a new stage in the development of domestic education. Over the course of six months, you went through various stages of selection and improved your leadership, professional and managerial skills. Now you have to become an engine of change in order to make a significant contribution to improving the quality of domestic education, and most importantly, to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our children and teachers," the minister concluded.
It is worth noting that this year the number of people willing to participate has increased 2.5 times. Among them are teachers of schools and colleges. A total of 13,796 applications were submitted at the initial stage of the project. The selection process took place in five stages: testing to assess professional and managerial competencies, training, internship at leading schools in the country, final assessment and an interview with the republican commission. The Center for Pedagogical Excellence held events to select and improve the qualifications of candidates.

According to the results of all five stages of selection, 376 candidates were enrolled in the Republican Personnel Reserve. Today they were awarded certificates for appointment to a position out of competition. It is expected that managers of the new generation will contribute to solving the personnel issue, and will also be able to head new schools, including those under construction within the framework of the National project "Comfortable School".
