Akim of North Kazakhstan Region took part in the interregional forum of Kazakhstan and Russia

The XX Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia was held in Ufa, Russia, with the participation of the two Heads of State via video link. Akim of North Kazakhstan Region Gauez Nurmukhambetov spoke at the plenary session, highlighting key issues of interregional cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister, Chief of Staff of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Galymzhan Koishybayev, Akim of the North Kazakhstan Region Gauez Nurmukhambetov and heads of regions visited the management center of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the national educational center.
At the forum, Gauez Nurmukhambetov held a meeting with the Governor of the Omsk region Vitaly Khotsenko, discussed issues of cross-border cooperation. A memorandum was signed between the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan Region and the government of the Omsk region on strengthening international and foreign economic relations in such areas as trade and economic cooperation, scientific and technical cooperation, social development and culture. This document will become a solid basis for further strengthening partnerships and will open up new prospects between the border regions.
The Governor of North Kazakhstan Region visited the Ultra Decor plant in the Alga special economic zone in Ufa. Today, the deep wood processing plant is the largest in Russia for the production of OSB and chipboard panels, with a production volume of 1.6 million cubic meters of products per year. It occupies an area of 200 hectares. The factory employs 300 people. The Austrian company plans to open the same enterprise for the production of oriented chipboard (OSB) in our region. Gauez Nurmukhambetov discussed with the investor issues related to the implementation of a promising investment project.
