The Khabar Agency, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, has re-launched an intellectual game among 11th (12th) grade students "Leader of the XXI Century".

The qualifying stages of the game in each region of the country began in November 2024, which will last until April 2025. According to the results of the regional rounds, 5 of the strongest schoolchildren from each region will take part in the republican stage. It will be held in March-April 2025 in Almaty.
The tasks of the intellectual game cover various fields such as general knowledge, logic, music, art and sports. At the district stage, participants will need to answer 30 questions in 45 minutes, and at the regional stage — 60 questions in 75 minutes.
"We are confident that the intellectual game will become another socially significant contribution to the development of talented schoolchildren, as well as serve as an incentive for further striving for knowledge and self-improvement. It will allow us to identify the brightest and most talented leaders," said Director of the RNPC "Daryn" Gajdembek Tursynov.
Recall that the game "Leader of the XXI century" was first presented on the republican TV channel "Khabar" in 1999. Over the past 25 years, it has undergone several updates and has been released in the format of the major and minor leagues. Now an updated TV project aimed at increasing the interest of schoolchildren in knowledge and intellectual development, as well as the formation of the future intellectual potential of Kazakhstan, is being broadcast again with the support of the Ministry of Education.
