On November 28 this year, a meeting was held in Busan (South Korea) with the Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zh. Aliyev with the Executive Director of UNEP I. Andersen, during which topical issues of current cooperation were discussed, as well as promising areas for further joint work. On the part of the Head of UNEP, Kazakhstan's active role in international processes was outlined.
P.S. in Busan, work continues within the framework of the 5th round of negotiations of the Intergovernmental Commission on the discussion of an international treaty on combating environmental pollution by plastic.
