The premiere of the opera "Khan Sultan" took place at the Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abai. Altyn Orda", created by Kazakh composer Hamit Shangaliev.
The new national opera will tell about the formation of the Golden Horde.
The famous Italian director Davide Livermore was invited for the production.
The embodiment of the historical era on the stage became possible thanks to the participation of leading theater artists, a symphony orchestra and a choir.
The process of creating the opera was accompanied by consultations with well-known scientists, experts in the field of the history of Altyn Orda, such as Ilnur Mirgaleev, Ilyas Kemaloglu and Nurlan Atygaev, which ensured historical authenticity and in-depth elaboration of details.
On November 29, 30 and December 1, 2024, the Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abai presents the premiere of the opera "Khan Sultan. Altyn Horde".
For three days, viewers will be able to immerse themselves in the era of the formation of the Golden Horde, the largest state of the Middle Ages, experiencing key historical moments and strong emotions that will leave indelible impressions.
