Today, the Palace of Childhood and Youth "Bolashak Sarayy" hosted a solemn event dedicated to the admission to the children's association "Zhas Urpak", created on the initiative of the Prosecutor's Office of the Akmola region together with the Department of Education of the Akmola region.
Among those invited to the event are representatives of regional departments: Akimat, prosecutor's office, anti-corruption service, police, Justice, Department of Economic Investigations.
Students of grades 6-10 of 4 secondary schools of the city participate in the pilot project.Kokshetau (gymnasium school No. 11, secondary school No. 14, gymnasium school No. 17, lyceum school No. 21).
"Today, a number of children's organizations operate in the schools of the region: "Zhas kyran", "Zhas Ulan", "Zhas Sarbaz", "Zhas sakhshy", "Adal urpak", "Sanaly urpak". Each of these movements has its own task. For example, in the anti-corruption area, in the military-patriotic, in the civil-social areas.
Zhas Urpak is a movement that will unite children in social initiatives in order to reduce offenses, bullying in the school environment, and involve children more in extracurricular activities," Murat Balpan, Deputy akim of the region, said in his speech.
The association aims to develop students' citizenship, patriotism, the formation of professionally significant qualities, high responsibility and discipline, the development of creative abilities, the involvement of children in educational, creative, sports and social initiatives in order to reduce offenses among adolescents, bullying in the school environment. Also, instilling the basics of life safety, studying literature and other scientific approaches to the upbringing of minors, respect for their traditions and other peoples, attitude towards the older generation, education and profiling in cyberspace, financial literacy, information security.
Members of the children's movement will participate in competitions, projects, competitions of various levels, in events of civil-patriotic, artistic and aesthetic directions and many others.
