The national team of Karaganda Technical University named after Abylkas Saginov won the University League 2024 Futsal Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The competitions were held in the capital's Sairan Arena Sports Palace.
10 teams took part in the student championship, which were divided into two groups. The Abylkas Saginov card team has one draw and three wins.
– In the semifinals, we beat the capital's AITU team with a score of 4:1. In the final match, the opponent was the University of Turan from Almaty. But we didn't give the opponent a chance, having won a convincing victory with a score of 5:1. For the first time in history, the Abylkas Saginov KarTU team became the national champion, – said coach Yerlan Okasov.
In addition, the Karaganda players received individual prizes. Thus, Kirill Durov was recognized as the best striker, and Zharkynbek Ryspekov was recognized as the best goalkeeper.
The mentors of the teams are the senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Education, coach Yerlan Okasov and UEFA coach Alexander Dyachenko.
