On November 29, Akim of the region Nurdaulet Kilybai met with representatives of KazAzot JSC. The meeting discussed the progress of the project "Ammonia-carbamide complex" and further plans.
Upon completion of the project, it is planned to produce 660 thousand tons of ammonia, 577.5 thousand tons of urea, 395 thousand tons of nitric acid and 500 thousand tons of ammonium nitrate per year.
A land plot with a total area of 242.15 hectares has been allocated for the project. 1,500 people will be involved in the construction and installation work. The facility is scheduled to be fully operational in 2029.
Akim of the region Nurdaulet Kilybai instructed to take appropriate measures within the framework of state programs to provide all necessary infrastructure for the implementation of a new project that will give impetus to the development of the region's economy. In addition, the head of the region noted the great contribution of this project not only to the development of the region's economy, but also to the improvement of the country's chemical industry.
