Today, on November 29, Akim of Mangystau region Nurdaulet Kilybai met with Giancarlo Ruyu, Managing Director of North Caspian Operating Company NV (NCOC), the operator of the North Caspian project.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of socio-economic development of the region, improvement of infrastructure and improvement of the quality of life of local residents.
Akim of the region Nurdaulet Kilybai voiced specific proposals aimed at improving the social infrastructure, and noted that he was ready to support joint initiatives with the company.
- Our main task is to improve the well–being of the local population. According to the President's instructions, new tasks have been set to develop tourism in the region and improve the quality of life of residents. Today, the development of the social infrastructure of our region is supported by a number of companies and the private sector. In this regard, we propose to increase the funding limit for the development of the social infrastructure of the Mangystau region and consider the possibility of financing a 5-year plan until 2025. We are always ready for mutually beneficial and effective cooperation, and we will support all initiatives from the Akimat," said Nurdaulet Kylybai.
It should be noted that NCOC is actively implementing the construction of socially significant facilities in the region. Over the past three years, five facilities have been commissioned with the support of the company.
