In maktaaral district for 10 months of 2024, the volume of gross regional product amounted to 107 billion tenge. In addition, the volume of attracted investments in fixed assets amounted to 32.1 billion tenge, fulfilled by 120.6% compared to last year. This was announced by akim of Maktaaral district Bakhyt Asanov at a briefing with media representatives.
"This year, Maktaaral farmers planted 60.6 thousand hectares of crops, of which 33.7 thousand hectares belong to cotton crops. In total, 90.4 thousand tons of white gold were collected in the district, and the average yield was 26.8 centners. For 2024-2030, it is planned to implement 53 investment projects worth 94.1 billion tenge in maktaaral district. Of these, 8 large projects worth 70 billion tenge will be implemented in the development of the cotton and textile cluster. As a result, 3,020 people will be employed. In particular, Cotton Cotton LLP will build a spinning mill with an annual capacity of 10 thousand tons in the period from 2025 to 2026. In addition, it is planned to build a factory for processing 13.8 thousand tons of sheets by" Global Textile Turkestan " LLP. In 2025-2028, 5 thousand tons of spinning mill will be built by TULPAR textile LLP. At the same time, Nurbibi LLP intends to implement a cotton processing plant, Begash LLP for the production of seeds, drip irrigation tape and zhybek TextilE LLP for the production of silk, Bakhyt Nasyrkhanovich said."
According to the speaker, the school for 600 places, which is being built within the framework of the pilot national project "comfortable school" in the exemplary settlement of the district, will be commissioned at the end of the year. The construction of a school for 1500 children in the village of Atakent is scheduled for 2025. At the same time, 87 rental housing for socially vulnerable segments of the population in the district will be handed over to families on the waiting list at the end of the year. In addition, within the framework of the national project" modernization of rural healthcare", the construction of 5 medical facilities is underway.
It should be noted that all 68 settlements in Maktaaral district are 100% provided with centralized drinking water. Also, 45 out of 68 settlements are covered with natural gas, which is 66.1% of the total number of settlements in the district. In addition, within the framework of the program "Auyl – El Besigi" in the district, average repairs of 22 streets with a length of 20.7 km were carried out in 10 months.
