The Kazakh Foreign Minister met with the Secretary of the Party Committee of Sichuan Province
30.11.2024 23:07:32 2202Chengdu, November 30, 2024 – During a working visit to the People's Republic of China to participate in the 5th meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Central Asia-China format, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu held a meeting with the Secretary of the Party Committee of Sichuan Province Wang Xiaohui.
The parties discussed the prospects for further development of interregional cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. Special attention was paid to issues of cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as in the field of high technologies, finance, investments and green energy.
M.Nurtleu noted the need to strengthen the interconnectedness between the regions of the two countries, in particular through the expansion of transport and logistics cooperation, attracting investments and human exchange. He stressed the high interest of the Kazakh side in establishing mutually beneficial partnerships.
In turn, the head of the province spoke about the possibilities of the region and proposed, within the framework of the policy of openness, to continue to deepen trade and economic ties between Sichuan Province and the regions of Kazakhstan.
On the same day, the Kazakh Foreign Minister held a number of meetings with the leadership of large Chinese companies, during which plans for further development of investment, trade and economic cooperation were discussed.
Chinese businessmen were familiarized with the political and economic reforms being implemented in Kazakhstan, the investment climate and the advantages of doing business in our country.
Companies specializing in green energy, renewable energy sources, mechanical engineering, agro-industrial complex and construction showed great interest in building mutually beneficial partnerships with Kazakh colleagues and expressed hope that the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan will provide maximum assistance in their activities in Kazakhstan.
Entrepreneurs presented their capabilities for the production of solar modules, unmanned aerial vehicles used in agriculture, deep processing of grain and other crops, as well as the construction of urban infrastructure.
