Within the framework of expanding business and investment cooperation between the Turkestan region and the Republic of Korea, a business forum was held. The event with the participation of the association" Korea International Trade Association " was attended by a delegation of the region headed by Deputy akim of Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov and more than 50 Korean entrepreneurs and representatives of business and diplomatic circles, including chairman of the board of KITA Mr. Yun Jin Sik, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Korea Nurgali Arystanov and delegations from various economic sectors of Kazakhstan and Korea.
The purpose of the forum is to discuss promising areas of cooperation between the two countries in such sectors of the economy as agriculture, energy, innovation and technology, and to establish new business contacts between Kazakh and Korean companies.
At the meeting, Nuralkhan Kusherov stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral economic ties and noted that Turkestan region has a huge potential as a key region for investment and business. He informed investors and entrepreneurs about the favorable conditions provided in the region, as well as reported on existing projects in the field of agriculture, tourism and industry.
"We see great opportunities for deepening cooperation with Korea in such areas as agriculture, digitalization, manufacturing and tourism. We are open to investors and are ready to implement joint projects that will contribute to the development of the region's economy, strengthening bilateral ties," the deputy akim of the region said.
Within the framework of the forum, G2B and B2B meetings were also held, where specific projects and opportunities for cooperation were discussed.
The event was an important step in strengthening economic and trade ties between the Turkestan region and the Republic of Korea. It opened up new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
