Neurosurgeons, neuropathologists and intensive care specialists of the city multidisciplinary hospital of Konaev saved the life of a woman with a severe form of intracerebral hemorrhage.
She was admitted to a medical facility in a coma as a result of a rupture of a cerebral vessel.
"The patient was diagnosed with a ruptured aneurysm of the posterior cerebral artery. This complication leads to a neurological deficit, in the form of coma, paresis, and paralysis in the extremities. The results of computed tomography showed extensive hemorrhage in the cerebellum, brain stem, which could lead to brain dislocation and death," says Gulnara Bopeshbaeva, the patient's attending physician.
The patient was successfully operated on by neurosurgeon Marat Rimovich Gizatullin. He performed external ventricular drainage. Intensive care doctors Uderbaeva Karina Omirgalievna, Muratbekov Marat Sarsekovich, Zhirenbayev Daniyar Karataevich, Telagusov Kuanysh Ordabaevich, Rakhimov Kanat Isabekovich also took part in saving lives, who provided all the necessary first aid, participated in a complex operation and provided assistance in the postoperative period. It is worth noting that with such a diagnosis, survival is extremely rare.
According to doctors, the main cause of the development of this form of the disease is a rupture of a vessel, as a result of arterial hypertension. In addition, the cause of hemorrhage may be uncontrolled intake of blood thinning drugs, pathologically altered walls of the arteries of the brain, tumors and a number of other pathologies:
The son of the rescued woman is infinitely grateful to the doctors for their professionalism, well-coordinated teamwork and wished his mother's angels good health and long life.
Now, a month after the operation, the patient is undergoing rehabilitation in specialized medical centers. Relatives and doctors are looking forward to the restoration of vital functions with great hope.
The complex operation was performed free of charge, as part of compulsory social health insurance.
