Today, in Kostanay, within the framework of the first regional forum of rural akims, more than 300 participants gathered, including akims of rural settlements, representatives of the AMANAT party, as well as heads of regional departments and enterprises. The forum was opened by the chairman of the regional branch of the AMANAT party Almat Kakimzhanovich Dosmukhamedov.
Within the framework of the forum, important topics were voiced concerning the development of rural areas, improving the quality of life in rural areas and fulfilling election promises. Kumar Aksakalov, akim of Kostanay region, emphasized the importance of sustainable socio-economic growth in rural areas, as well as the significance of supporting agriculture and improving infrastructure.
“The well-being of our citizens and their quality of life are priority tasks. This year, significant funds were allocated to improve the road, utility infrastructure and develop the social sphere. It is important that all initiatives are implemented taking into account the interests of local residents,” Kumar Aksakalov noted.
Particular attention was paid to projects aimed at improving water supply, gasification and landscaping. In 2024, it is planned to complete the connection of 15 villages to the central water supply and the implementation of large gasification projects.
An equally important aspect is the development of small and medium-sized businesses in rural areas. With the help of the Business-Komek program, entrepreneurs in the southern regions of the region will be able to receive financing for the development of the real sector of the economy.
The forum became an important milestone in the development strategy of the Kostanay region, confirming the readiness of local executive bodies to work together with businesses and local residents to improve living conditions in rural areas.
