On December 2, the Demo Day of the Ministry of Industry and Construction was held under the organization of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This event was an important step in strengthening digital transformation in various sectors of the economy and improving the efficiency of public administration in the country.
The purpose of the Demo Day is to present advanced digital projects and discuss them in order to improve public services, optimize processes and increase their effectiveness for the population.
Vice Minister of Industry and Construction Zhannat Dubirova made a welcoming speech and presented the Ministry's projects on digitalization and the introduction of artificial intelligence. The Vice Minister presented such projects as the National Information System of Industry (NISP), a Virtual assistant for the Ministry's contact center, a civil servant's workplace, the creation of a document "professional standard", a comparison of laws and regulations and Export control.
Zhannat Dubirova also spoke about working on projects for Processing geological reports and forming a base of geological knowledge using AI, Modernizing export control processes using AI, a pilot application of BIM, a unified housing and communal services platform, etc.
Next, a demonstration of the Situation Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its tools took place. These include a dashboard for restoration, video surveillance, and a monitoring platform for national projects.
Then a demonstration of the AIS "State Urban Planning Cadastre" was held. The speakers presented the methodological and technical parts of the project. The GGK system is a tool for accounting and monitoring the development of the territory. Through AIS, it is possible to issue APZ in accordance with the city regulations, obtain technical conditions, coordinate the draft design and record the acceptance certificates. This will allow you to create a single gradkadaster database.
After that, a demonstration of the Unified Subsurface Use Portal took place. To improve it, the functionality was expanded, public services were reengineered, technical specifications were formed, adjustments were made to the NPA, the system was modified, data migration and testing were carried out.
A demonstration of the Kaz Registry IP was also held. This is a unified information system for equity participation in housing construction, which provides a public service for registration of equity participation agreements. The goals of the project are to reduce the period of public services for obtaining M&E permits, centralized accounting of all M&E permits issued to attract funds from shareholders, as well as optimization of business processes.
As a result, a question and answer session was held for the participants, where the participants received the information they were interested in.
