Akim of the West Kazakhstan region Nariman Turegaliyev got acquainted with the preparations for the flood period of 2025. The governor of the region inspected flood-prone areas in the city of Uralsk, supervised the work on shore protection measures, strengthening dams, etc.
In addition, Nariman Turegaliyev visited and supervised the execution of works carried out in Syrymsky, Karatobinsky, Baytereksky districts.
"We must be as prepared as possible for the spring. It is important that flood prevention measures are carried out on time and efficiently. I instruct the mayors of cities, districts, relevant departments and institutions to carry out this work on time,” the governor of the region said.
It is worth noting that a roadmap for flood prevention has been approved in the West Kazakhstan region, within the framework of which 23 events are planned. In addition, we note that the preparatory work for spring began from the first month of autumn.
