The Republican Center for Expertise of the content of scientific and Practical Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted an examination of textbooks and teaching materials used in the next academic year.
278 textbooks and teaching aids were reviewed, of which 266 were approved and recommended for use. Textbooks for children with special educational needs in Braille and enlarged font have also been developed. Textbooks on digital literacy, Russian and foreign languages (English, German, French), fine arts, labor training, natural sciences, and textbooks for schools with Uighur and Uzbek languages of instruction have been approved for grades 4.
"Experienced teachers and scientists worked in the subject expert commission. The evaluation of educational literature was carried out in accordance with scientific and pedagogical requirements, based on the results of testing and analysis of each publication. The approved textbooks and teaching materials fully comply with modern educational requirements, are aimed at the successful education of students and the development of important skills and knowledge necessary in the future," said Nazira Abdrakhmanova, Director of the Republican Center for Expertise in the Content of Scientific and Practical Education of the Ministry.
It is also worth noting that educational and methodological manuals for preschool educational organizations have passed a comprehensive examination for the first time. The educational and methodical complex includes a methodical manual, a workbook, a textbook, handouts and demonstration materials and albums.
