A regular meeting of the commission under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the appointment of heads of regional sports departments was held. Candidates for the position of head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the West Kazakhstan region were considered at the meeting.

Two candidates were nominated for discussion by the commission: Bakdaulet Sabitov, Director of the RSE "Center for National and Equestrian Sports" and Mirbolat Nurzhanov, Deputy head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the West Kazakhstan Region. The members of the commission examined the professional experience of each candidate, as well as their vision of the prospects for the development of sports in the region.

It should be recalled that candidates are nominated by local executive bodies, but the appointment is carried out only if there is a positive conclusion from the commission established under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
