The Commission for the investigation of the aviation accident of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan is headed by Minister of Transport Marat Karabayev. Deputy Chairman of the Commission, Commissioner for Investigation — Director of the Department for Investigation of Accidents and Incidents in Transport Nurzhan Malaev. The Ministerial Commission is part of the Government Commission headed by Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev.
The purpose of the investigation commission of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan is to establish the causes of the accident and develop recommendations to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Today, under the chairmanship of Marat Karabayev, a meeting was held at the headquarters with the participation of all 17 international experts.
The Commission has defined a work plan. Thus, the Commission will jointly visit the scene of the accident, inspect the hangar for collecting aircraft elements and make a joint decision on the date of the start of collecting aircraft elements.
