A New Year's fireworks display was launched in the capital, organized at the expense of sponsorship funds and in compliance with all safety regulations, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
The fireworks were launched at 00:00 from two points of the city - from the territory near Atyrau Bridge (city embankment) and the Botanical Garden. More than 50,000 people came to watch the fireworks launch. The duration of the fireworks was about 3.5 minutes, and the number of shots was 2.5 thousand from each location.
In addition to the New Year's fireworks, festive concert events with the participation of Kazakh pop stars are held in three points of the city.
The concert program includes Almas Kishkenbayev, Augee, Yerkesh Hasen, Beibit Korgan, Kairat Bayekenov, Zarina Omarova, Ilkhan Ihsan, Kurmash Mahan, Marzhan Arapbayeva, Alisher Karimov, Zaman and Melomen groups, and other artists.
Concerts are organized until 2 a.m. at the following addresses:
City square (in front of the akimat of the city); The territory of the monument "Kazakh Eli"; The EXPO site.
