The thermal power plant No. 5 in Kentau has been upgraded and currently fully provides the city with heat.
Akim of Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov visited the thermal power plant in Kentau and got acquainted with its work. He instructed the responsible persons to avoid problems with the heat supply and keep the situation under control.
As part of the instruction of the Head of State, the project "Boiler overhaul" was developed to provide residents of Kentau and social facilities with high-quality heat. №7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 Kentau Thermal Power Plant". Funds from the government's reserve fund were allocated for the modernization of heat sources. The reconstruction of boilers has begun at the thermal power plant, which has not seen major repairs for more than half a century.
At the moment, work is underway on the reconstruction of six boilers. Five of them have already been upgraded, and the last boiler will be launched in the coming days. In addition, two boilers underwent routine repairs: boiler No. 5 was repaired at the expense of the budget, and boiler No. 6 was repaired at the expense of sponsorship funds.
A full technical examination of about 300 kilometers of heating networks in the region was also carried out. The level of deterioration of heating networks was 49%. 6.6 kilometers of main heating networks have been reconstructed in Kentau. In addition, a reconstruction project has been developed for another 14.5 kilometers of networks, which has been sent to the Ministry to receive budget funding.
Recall that about 14 thousand subscribers of the city are connected to the centralized heat supply system. Among them are 108 budget institutions, more than 2,000 private homes, 347 apartment buildings and 441 commercial facilities.
