Akim of Tulkubassky district Askar Estibayev held talks with Wang Jian, a representative of the Chinese company Fujian Yonghuan New Material Technology Co. Ltd., who expressed interest in lime production in the region.
The Chinese investor plans to invest in the development of UMIT-SD LLP, which has been operating in the area for several years. The company plans to introduce new technologies to increase lime production to 150,000 tons per year. Limestone rocks are currently being sampled at the company's deposit to determine their composition.
During the conversation, Askar Sultanuly stressed the high potential of the region in the field of tourism and agriculture, noting that if an investor is interested, the state will provide the necessary support. The mayor also pointed out the importance of ensuring that 95% of jobs at the new enterprise are provided to local residents.
