Karaganda will take up the renovation of the children's railway, a park attraction beloved by many. Mayor of the city Meiram Kozhukhov told about the plans at a meeting on the development of the regional center chaired by the head of the region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.
– According to your instructions, the budget provides for the modernization of the children's railway with the expansion of the route and the organization of an additional stop in the zoo area, the renovation of cars equipped with air conditioning and insulation. About five thousand apple trees will also be planted along the railway," said Meiram Kozhukhov.
According to him, they have found a company that will manufacture new wagons by special order.
Ermaganbet Bulekpayev recalled that they had long talked about the need to extend the route to the zoo.
The development of the Central Park of Culture and Recreation was also generally touched upon. The akim of the region raised the issue of outdated rides and their safety. He also drew attention to the high prices of businesses operating in the park. It is necessary to solve this together with entrepreneurs, Ermaganbet Bulekpayev emphasized.
