In Karaganda, sewer networks are worn out. Communications that are over 50 years old need to be updated. There are already projects for the reconstruction of four collectors and the construction of a new CNS. Their implementation should begin this year.
The urgent problem was discussed at a meeting on the development of the regional center, chaired by the head of the region, Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.
– We have a problem with sanitation. The objects are over 50 years old. The time has come to seriously address this issue," the governor of the region emphasized. – We also have a task this year to provide citizens with one hundred percent central water supply.
Akim of Karaganda, Meiram Kozhukhov, said that reconstruction of sewer collectors No. 19 and on Sovkhoznaya Street is planned at the expense of budgetary funds. Two more projects will be financed by Kaganady Su LLP – for the reconstruction of the main collector and pressure collector from KNS-13. In addition, it is planned to use budget funds to build a KNS in the Panel Center district.
The mayor of the city also spoke about water supply projects. Reconstruction of water pipeline No. 22 will continue. It is planned to build water supply networks in Novaya and Staraya Tikhonovka, as well as 16 local water supply networks in the city.
The issue of stable heat supply also remains relevant. The regional center is actively being built up, new facilities need to be provided with thermal energy. Last year, the construction of the third heat outlet was completed, and five large-scale heat supply projects were implemented.
The meeting was informed that this work will continue. There are plans to reconstruct the Connecting heating mains and the 1st stage from CHP-3 to CTRP-1. Financing has been increased for the current repair of heating networks.
