Aviation projects
The implementation of the most important infrastructure projects in the field of aviation has begun in Kazakhstan. In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, new airports will be built in the resort areas of Katon-Karagai, Zaisan and Kendirli in 2025. Work is underway on the registration of land plots and the design of these facilities.
Highways
A large-scale project to improve the transport infrastructure will be implemented in Kazakhstan by 2030. The total length of the new roads will be 4.7 thousand km, of which 3.7 thousand km are Category I roads.

The total amount of investments for the implementation of these projects is more than 9 trillion tenge, and work is actively underway to attract investors.
Railway and water transport
A number of large-scale modernizations are also being carried out in the field of railway transport. In 2025, 225 new railcars will be purchased.
The construction of railways under the Dostyk—Moynty projects will be completed, which will increase the capacity by 5 times, ensuring uninterrupted movement of 12-60 pairs of trains, as well as the Bypass Almaty.
It is also planned to open traffic on the Dostyk – Beskol and Moynty – Balkash sections. This solution will help improve train traffic on these sections and resolve issues with freight transportation.
Sea transport and Aktau port
For the development of maritime transport, construction of a container hub has begun in the port of Aktau, which will increase its capacity to 240 thousand tons. JFE per year. This will strengthen Kazakhstan's position in the international logistics arena, increase container shipments along the Trans-Caspian route through Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, and redirect some of the transit cargo coming from China to Europe.
Expansion work is also planned at the port, which will increase its terminal capacity and make it more efficient for container transportation.
