The symbols of the outgoing and new year – a Snail and a Snake, fairy tale and cartoon characters, funny snowmen, a crocodile and a bear – competed in Balkhash with students from 14 schools in the city to create the most beautiful snow figure. Children's sculptures decorated the square in front of the Palace of Schoolchildren named after Agybai Batyr.
The participants were given only an hour to work. During this time, they had to make a snow sculpture, paint and decorate it.
The guys armed themselves with shovels, brought bright colors with them and did not forget about the good mood. With a little effort and invention, the crisp snow turned into sculptures.
The students' work was evaluated by the jury, which tried to highlight the strengths of the participating teams.
By the decision of the judges, the sculptures of pupils of the Palace of Schoolchildren named after him were recognized as the best. Agybai-batyr, boarding school No. 24, students of the A. Ermekov Lyceum School and the Y. Altynsarin School.
The second place went to the teams of schools named after al-Farabi, named after A. Bokeikhanov, No. 9, 5 and the gymnasium named after S. Seifullin.
In third place are the students of the B. Momyshula school, № 3, 4, 1, boarding school named after M. Rusakov.
The competition was held during the school holidays as part of the Birtutas Tarbieh program.
