A meeting was held in the capital between Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Serik Zharasbayev and deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimagambetov and Nartai Sarsengaliyev, head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of Astana Vasily Levit, as well as representatives of the sports industry.

Within the framework of the topic "Development of domestic sports: problems and prospects", key issues of the development of the sports industry were discussed. The participants of the meeting conducted explanatory work on the main provisions of the draft law on sports, which is in the Mazhilis of Parliament, and touched upon a number of detailed tasks aimed at finalizing the document. The heads of sports institutions and industry experts presented their suggestions and recommendations, which will be taken into account in further work on the draft law.

A constructive dialogue between representatives of government agencies, parliament and the sports community has become a significant step towards developing comprehensive solutions aimed at developing domestic sports.
