Work continues in the Turkestan region to develop the field of education, improve the infrastructure of educational institutions and build schools. Issues in this area, as well as plans for 2025, were discussed at a meeting with the participation of Deputy akim of the region Beysenbai Tazhibayev.
The deputy akim noted that systematic work was carried out last year, and stressed the need to strengthen the pace of work and solve urgent problems this year.
In his Message, the Head of State instructed to modernize 1,300 schools across the country. In accordance with this instruction, it is necessary to continue work in this direction in the region. This year, 41 schools in the region are undergoing ongoing and major repairs. It is also necessary to switch the heating systems in 100 educational institutions from solid fuels to natural gas, put the internal toilets in 105 schools in order, and continue systematic work to prevent corruption risks. The Safe School project must be fully implemented, and digital systems must be implemented in educational institutions. The allocated funds must be used efficiently and the work completed on time. The development of education is our top priority. We are open to creative proposals in this area," Beisenbai Dauletuly said, instructing responsible managers to perform their tasks efficiently.
The meeting also discussed issues of major school repairs, renovation of summer health camps, installation of alarm buttons and video surveillance, organization of creative events, equipping classrooms, switching to digital technologies, providing educational institutions with the Internet and other issues. Relevant instructions were given in all areas.
