In order to coordinate the units in the tank brigade of the Guards Garrison, practical firing was carried out from the armament of the T-72 tank.
The training of personnel is aimed at improving the skills of interaction between tank commanders, driver mechanics and gunner operators.
The unit's fire control is carried out by the commanders. The driver mechanics work out the interaction between the three combat vehicles. Moving along the firing line, they strictly keep their distance. Tank gunners destroy moving targets on the ground with a Kalashnikov machine gun (PKT).
– The most important thing is to achieve well–coordinated work of the department. Everyone should understand and clearly fulfill their tasks. When all actions are synchronized, you can work effectively and achieve results. Such training helps us to better interact and respond to any changes in the situation," commented Lieutenant Colonel Askhat Shaikenov, commander of the tank brigade.
In the last year, there has been an increased intensity of combat training. Previously, classes were held mainly in classrooms and on training simulators, but now they are held at training grounds in conditions as close to combat as possible.
In the future, the military will begin firing from the tank's armament with a standard shell. Regular shootings are held twice a year, but training for them is carried out on an ongoing basis.
