WHO WILL HOLD THE FLAG OF THE NATIONAL TEAM OF KAZAKHSTAN AT THE WORLD WINTER UNIVERSIADE
Freestyle player Ayaulym Amrenova and hockey player Abylaykhan Suleimenov were honored to represent the national team of Kazakhstan at the opening ceremony of the XXXII World Winter Universiade (Turin, Italy).
Ayaulym Amrenova is one of the best athletes of the national freestyle team. In his piggy bank there are gold, silver and bronze medals of the stages of the European Cup 2017. He also represented Kazakhstan at two Olympic Games in Pyeongchang in 2018 and Beijing in 2022.
Abylaikhan Suleimenov is a bright star of Kazakhstan hockey, a player of the Nomad team. His sports career includes the Youth League, four national tournaments, the Kazakhstan Cup, the Continental Cup, as well as the XXXI World Winter Universiade in the United States. At the same Universiade, the hockey team of Kazakhstan took the third place.
Recall that the 2025 Winter Universiade will be held from January 13 to 23 in Turin and will be one of the largest student sports arenas in the world. About 2,000 athletes from 57 countries will take part in the competition, competing in 96 sets of medals in 11 sports.
